About

For Today is a new musical set in a contemporary New Zealand high school. The show includes romance, action, drama, rugby, singing and dancing all set to a collection of classic and contemporary songs by some of New Zealand's greatest singers and bands. This show is intended to be easy to stage. The majority of the show takes place in a high school setting and thus requires simple sets and costumes (most characters are either in school uniform or mufti). The songs are well known Kiwi classics and are arranged for high school level musicians in the same key as the original recordings. The arrangements were completed on Sibelius software and thus it is possible for songs to be transposed into different keys to suit the voices of performers.
